Matt Reeves’ The Batman Epic Crime Saga is set to expand in monumental fashion, with Colin Farrell officially confirming that Oz Cobb will play a pivotal role in The Batman Part II.

Following the massive critical success of The Penguin limited series on HBO, Farrell revealed that Reeves’ screenplay seamlessly weaves the mob kingpin’s newfound power into the core narrative facing Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight.

“Matt’s writing is so forensic, so grounded in the psychological grit of these characters. Gotham is under water, freezing, and tearing itself apart from within.”

Cinematographer Greig Fraser is set to return to lens the sequel, which is scheduled to commence principal photography in London early next year.
